
Reverend Kendall R. Jackson
Senior Pastor
Reverend Kendall R. Jackson is the proud pastor of Thomas Chapel AME in Copperas Cove, TX. He was licensed to preach in February 2009 at Anderson Chapel African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church in Killeen, Texas, and ordained an Itinerant Deacon in 2016 in the Tenth Episcopal District. He has also served in the 2nd and 13th Episcopal Districts.
A graduate of Liberty University, Reverend Jackson holds an Associate of Arts in Religion and a Bachelor of Science in Christian Counseling. He is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity in Church Ministry in the Digital Age at Liberty University.
Reverend Jackson served 25 years in the United States Army, retiring in March 2025 as a First Sergeant. He has received numerous military awards, including the Meritorious Service Medal, and deployed in support of America’s Global War on Terrorism in Iraq and Afghanistan.

His mission as pastor is to lead God’s people to Accept the Call, Activate their Gifts, and Advance the Gospel. He encourages the congregation to “Give it their A.L.L. (Apply Lessons Learned)” in faith.
Reverend Jackson resides in Killeen, Texas, with his wife of 20 years, Leshawnda, a military veteran, their daughter Kyndall, and son Lemuel. He is passionate about reaching the lost, strengthening the found, and helping others develop enduring faith through biblical teaching, as well as building the church’s digital ministry platforms.
